Freelance Film Maker

30-Month Contract (minimum 96 days work over 30-Month period)

£28,800

Lowestoft Town Council seeks to appoint an experienced film maker to delver and oversee the film making engagement activities in the Lowestoft Town Hall Project Activity Plan. They will work with local people to provide workshops in film making, film and produce films of the Town Hall redevelopment and capture interviews on the memories and stories of Lowestoft’s heritage alongside other responsibilities.

Finance Assistant

£23,114 p.a. pro rata

12 hours per week (flexible working and term time only considered)

We are looking for a highly competent administrator who has excellent numerical reasoning to support our Finance Officer with a range of tasks including data input, invoicing and bank reconciliations, invoicing as well as taking minutes at our Budget and Loan meetings. You should have accurate data input skills, be detail conscious and able to work to deadlines in preparing financial reports.  Experience using Rialtas software would be beneficial but not essential.

Town Hall Heritage Officer

£26,873 

37 hours per week

Would you like to play an important role in revitalising the Grade II listed Lowestoft Town Hall?

Lowestoft Town Council are looking for someone who is interested in developing skills in planning, delivering and managing cultural learning and participation activities to undertake the delivery of the National Lottery Heritage Funded Lowestoft Town Hall Project Action Plan which will assist in enabling the Town Hall to become an inclusive centre for the community and visitors.

The refurbished Town Hall will provide a new, compelling and innovative heritage gallery and changing programme of exhibitions and events that will act as a driver for economic growth and community pride, inclusion and wellbeing. It will support cultural education to inspire people of all ages, raising aspiration and pride, in order to influence how the town develops, strengthening the area and making it a more attractive place to live, work and invest in. The Town Hall will also be a collaborative space – acting as a venue for outreach activities, showcasing artefacts from other heritage/ organisations in the town and signposting people to them.

This role will collaborate to plan, develop, manage and sustain the heritage activities and resources identified in the Lowestoft Town Hall Action Plan with and for the target audiences identified. Initially they will be mentored and supported by the Heritage Project manager.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and interest in practical learning and project delivery.  The right candidate will have the flexibility, eagerness, curiosity to learn and the positive approach necessary to work in a community heritage setting.
